concert season:- A Voci Christmas Sunday, December 11, 2005, 7:00 pm Christ Church, 61 East Main Street, Oyster Bay Celebrate this joyous season and conclude your busy weekend with us by the serene glow of candlelight as we offer a variety of choral gifts for you at our fourth annual Voci Christmas. At the close of this Sunday evening concert you will be invited to raise your voice with ours as we remember and sing some of the most beloved carols of Christmastide. The Voice of the Poet Sunday, April 30, 2006, 3:00 pm Christ Church, 61 East Main Street, Oyster Bay Whether fantastic or frivolous, joyous or sorrowful, our deepest emotions
are expressed in poems and sonnets by great writers like William Shakespeare,
Emily Dickenson, and Christopher Marlowe. At this Sunday afternoon concert
the singers of Voci da Camera give voice to the words of great poets
as set to music by Brahms, Diemer, Whitacre, Belmont and others. Please
join us following this concert for a wine and cheese reception to mark
the conclusion of our seventh season! |
